Automations are at the heart of many Fusioo workspaces, and this update makes them more capable and more reliable at the same time.
Workflows can now react to changes made by other workflows, date formulas work in triggers and record actions, and the email action finally got the editor it deserved. On top of that, we fixed a batch of workflow issues reported by you.
Workflows can now trigger other workflows. A new trigger option, From another workflow, is available for record-created and record-updated triggers, so for example, a webhook workflow fires even when the record was created by a different workflow.
Date formulas are now first-class citizens in automations. You can select date formula fields as date triggers.
You can also copy date values from formula fields in the update record, create record, and update referenced records actions.
The send email workflow action now uses a rich text editor. The body area is longer by default, mentions are preserved when removing formatting, and bold and italic text render at the correct size. Link placeholders display properly, and the template options are back.
While reworking automations, we cleared out a list of workflow issues as well:
Record deleted notifications - the record deleted action no longer sends incorrect notifications when records were created by workflows, and its logs now display correctly.
Duplicating subpath actions – duplicating an action inside a subpath now keeps references to parent actions intact.
Hyperlink popup in workflow emails – the link popup no longer overflows the screen when the linked word sits near the right border.
Cleaner webhook payloads – text values are wrapped in quotes only when needed, and related-record fields no longer require inverted commas, both formats are accepted.
URLs in workflow emails - anchor links pasted into the email body are preserved correctly instead of being stripped.
Email bodies no longer appear empty - content is wrapped correctly so workflow emails render fully in every email client.
