Google Calendar

There are two ways you can access calendars in Fusioo from Google Calendar. The first option is to connect your Google Account to Fusioo and use our built-in integration. The second option is to use the calendar iCal URL and add it directly to Google.

1. Connecting to Google Calendar

Connecting your Google Account to Fusioo is the best way to make the most of our Google Calendar Integration. With this two-way sync integration, apart from viewing Fusioo records in Google Calendar you will also be able to update them directly in Google Calendar.

To begin, you need to connect your Google Account. This can be done from the Fusioo Integrations page by connecting to Google Calendar.

connect google calendar

After connecting your Google Account, you need to:

  • Go to the Calendars page in Fusioo
  • Select the calendar you need to connect
  • Click on Export & Connect and select Google Calendar.
    connect calendar

Once Fusioo connects to your Google Calendar, the initial sync will start immediately. Any updates to records done in either Fusioo or Google Calendar may take up to 15 minutes to sync.

  • New events created in Google Calendar will not be added to Fusioo.
  • Deleting events in Google Calendar will remove the respective Date Field value in Fusioo.

Any event updates made in Google Calendar and reflected in Fusioo, count towards the API limit.

Disconnecting Google Calendar

You can stop Fusioo Calendars from syncing to Google Calendar at any time.

stop calendar sync

Once you click on Disconnect, Fusioo will stop sending and listening to updates from Google Calendar.

Disconnecting your Google Calendar Account

You can also disconnect the Google Account you used to connect with Google Calendar. This can be done from the Fusioo Integrations page.

disconnect google calendar

Disconnecting your Google Account will stop syncing of all your previously synced Fusioo Calendars.

Removing access from Google's side:

  • Go to your Google Account.
  • On the left navigation panel, select Security.
  • On the Third-party apps with account access panel, select Manage third-party access.
  • Find Fusioo and select it.
  • Select Remove Access.

2. Subscribing to a Calendar URL

Displaying your Fusioo Calendars in Google Calendar using a URL will not require you to connect your Google Account. This is ideal if you want to allow other people to view your calendars in Fusioo without having the option to update any records.

  • Go to the Calendars page in Fusioo
  • Select the calendar you need to connect
  • Click on Export & Connect and select Calendar iCal URL
    calendar url
  • Copy that URL
  • Next, open Google Calendar, and click the ellipsis icon next to Add calendar on the left side. Click on From URL - or go directly to this link
    google calendar url
  • Paste the iCalendar URL into the box, and click "Add Calendar."
  • Google Calendar will add your Fusioo calendar. You will find it listed under the Other calendars section.

Your calendar is not updating?

Changes made in Fusioo won't instantly update to third-party applications such as Google Calendar when using the iCal URL method. Google Calendar and other third party applications update their external feeds approximately once per day.
